Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was spotted fuming at a parking attendant - as City fans joked they're up to 116 charges.

The City boss was filmed causing a scene in Manchester, as he loudly argued with a parking attendant on Monday. In the comical footage, Guardiola is then asked for a photograph from the parking attendant, as a third person stands nearby, waiting for a handshake.

Guardiola then takes his inevitable Manchester City Council fine, and he balances the parking attendant as he makes his way back into his car. And the clip quickly went viral on social media, as football fans all made the same joke referencing City's 115 alleged breaches of the Premier League's financial rules.

"116 FFP charges now when Pep evades this ticket we're mudded," one fan joked. While a second added: "What the hell's he driving?!?! Is that a Nissan? Ffs! Pep you earn £25million per year! Come on man!"

"It should be squashed. He's got the freedom of Manchester," a third said. While a fourth joked: "This ticket will be the motivation to do the quadruple this season!"

"Can't wait for a journalist to ask Pep regarding this in his next presser His response could be something else," a fifth joked. And another added: "He gave Pep a parking ticket and asked for a picture with him!"

City are currently subject to an investigation from the Premier League over 115 alleged rule breaches - all of which they deny - between the 2009/10 season and the 2017/18 campaign.

Guardiola's side are still easing their way into the new season, and they've already registered wins over Burnley and Newcastle as well as claiming the UEFA Super Cup.

However, City are dealing with a major injury blow that was suffered by Kevin De Bruyne in their opening Premier League clash. And City could be without De Bruyne until the New Year, thanks to the hamstring injury.
