Neymar's unveiling was met by plenty of fans in Saudi Arabia
Football fans in Saudi Arabia have greeted Brazilian star Neymar's arrival at Al-Hilal by beaming his face up into the sky via hologram.
Having signed for Paris Saint Germain back in 2017 for a world record £200million fee, Neymar ended his time in France earlier this week by inking a two-year deal with Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
The Riyadh-based side paid around £86m for the former PSG forward, and will also pay him a whopping £138m a year in weekly wages, a contract which will net the Brazilian £2.65m a week
Recently, Neymar was unveiled by Al-Hilal, with fans flocking to see the 31-year-old arrive in Saudi where he signed countless autographs and posed for plenty of pictures.
However, the welcome party thrown for the forward at the airport pales in comparison to the rather bizarre hologram welcome Al-Hilal fans created to mark Neymar's move to Saudi.
Appearing about the King Fahd Stadium, an image of Neymar's face was beamed up via hologram to welcome the former Barcelona and PSG star to the Saudi Pro League.

In making the move to Saudi, Neymar joins a number of fellow professionals to ditch Europe in favour of a move to the gulf state. The Brazilian will link up with former Premier League stars Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly, who left Wolves and Chelsea this summer to join Al-Hilal.
And he will also be able to count Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Malcom and recently departed Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou amongst his team-mates too.

Additionally, there are plenty of other European stars to have also made the switch to Saudi this summer. Karim Benzema, Fabinho and N'Golo Kante have all joined Al-Ittihad, while Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr added Sadio Mane, Alex Telles and Marcelo Brozovic to their squad.
Jordan Henderson linked up with old Liverpool team-mate Steven Gerrard at Al-Ettifaq, while Al-Ahli now boast a frontline of Riyad Mahrez, Roberto Firmino and Allan Saint-Maximin up front.
