Chelsea make shock bid for Nottingham Forest attacker Johnson

Chelsea have put in a shock bid for a Nottingham Forest player in the past few days.

The Blues are in talks with Nottingham Forest over the possibility of signing Brennan Johnson this summer.

As they face the prospect of missing out on Michael Olise, who has signed a new deal with Crystal Palace, Chelsea are turning elsewhere.

Per The Mail, the Blues are assessing Johnson as a possible signing for the right wing position.

The 22-year-old was impressive with Forest in their first season back in the Premier League last term.

However, many fans would question whether he would be worth the investment of nearly £45 million, which is what Forest are seeking.
