Barcelona vice president Rafa Yuste has, on Sunday, spoken out over the possibility of Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix taking his talents to the Camp Nou.
The name of frontman Felix, of course, has long proven one on the top of many a Barcelona supporter.
This comes after the Portuguese, just shy of a month ago, publicly announced his desire to line out in the colours of Xavi Hernandez's troops.
"I'd love to play for Barca," Felix began. "Barcelona has always been my first choice and I'd love to join Barca. It was always my dream since I was a kid. If it happens, it will be a dream come true for me."
The 23-year-old, who is understood to have been deemed surplus to requirements by Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone, has in turn since been hotly tipped to take his talents to Catalunya.
Speaking to the media on Sunday evening, the subject of Felix's past comments was therefore, once more, put to the aforementioned Rafa Yuste.
And Barca's vice president went on to admit that learning of Felix's desire to join the club made he and his colleagues ‘proud', with the Blaugrana evidently ‘in a strong position' at present:

Coincidentally, Yuste's comments come swiftly on the back of a fresh round of rumours, surrounding a potential Barcelona offer for Felix.
According to Spanish journalist Helena Condis, the Spanish champions will soon offer up the gifted Ansu Fati to Atletico, as part of an exchange deal for the Rojiblancos' out-of-favour frontman.
