Moises Caicedo looks set to be on the move from Brighton to Liverpool
Moises Caicedo looks finally set to be on the move from Brighton - with Liverpool launching a mega-money £110million bid for the Ecuadorian.
Caicedo has been one of the numerous stars to emerge from the south coast in recent seasons, drawing interest from a plethora of top clubs. Arsenal and Chelsea had tried to lure him away from the Amex Stadium in previous months.
However, it's Liverpool that looks to be his destination, with Jurgen Klopp's side launching an all-out assault to try and land the midfielder. And if Caicedo makes his way up to Merseyside - so too will his stunning WAG: Paola Salazar.
Caicedo had a tough upbringing - the youngest of 10 siblings, his first coach described how his dream was to give them a better life. It was during this time of chasing his professional dream, he met the love of his life, Paola.
According to reports in his native Ecuador, the pair were already a couple by the time Caicedo first stepped out on the pitch for Independiente del Valle.
Caicedo and Paola keep their relationship quite low-key, but they occasionally share loved-up snaps on social media. And as Caicedo has continued to impress with Brighton, Paola has been making her own way in the world as a model.
Moises Caicedo is smitten with his WAG Paola Salazar
Paola was recently crowned as the queen of the Carnival of the Americas, in the province of Los Ríos, Ecuador.
And she too is clearly smitten with the star, taking to social media to post an emotional message ahead of Ecuador's World Cup clash with the Netherlands: "I love with all my soul, I'm always proud of you!"
The pair have been on quite the journey together, and that looks set to culminate with Caicedo commanding a British record transfer fee.
Moises Caicedo and Paola Salazar met in their younger years before Caicedo had even played a proffesional game
Caicedo, who featured in all but one Premier League game for Brighton last season, is now expected to join World Cup winning former Brighton team-mate Alexis Mac Allister on Merseyside.
Jurgen Klopp's side's only other signing of the window comes in the form of the highly-touted Hungarian winger Dominik Szoboszlai.
