An insight into the stance of Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino, regarding the club's ongoing efforts to bring Dusan Vlahovic to the club, has been provided late on Sunday.
For those not aware, the name of Serbian international Vlahovic has reemerged as a major talking point in west London across the week to date.
This comes after word was forthcoming that negotiations had been kicked back into gear between the respective boards at Chelsea and Italian giants Juventus, over a high-profile striker exchange.
The move in question would see the aforementioned Vlahovic make his way to Stamford Bridge, with Romelu Lukaku, as well as a considerable cash sum, heading in the other direction.
Discussions between the two clubs, it is understood, are ongoing, despite distance remaining in their respective valuations of the two attackers.
Vlahovic, for his part, is said to be keen to stay put in Turin, to rediscover his best in the colours of Juve.
But Lukaku is also keen to take his talents to the Allianz Stadium, with Bianconeri boss Massimiliano Allegri a long-term admirer of the talents of the Belgian.
Where, though, does Chelsea headmaster Mauricio Pochettino stand on the potential swap?
Well, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, not particularly favourably.
As per the reliable Jacob Steinberg of The Guardian, the new man on the bench in west London is 'not convinced' by the prospect of adding Vlahovic to his squad.
With Pochettino long claimed to have the final say when it comes to arrivals at Chelsea, could talks between the Blues and Juventus be in line for an imminent collapse?
