Philine Roepstorff would appear to have a type after finding love with another Danish forward bound for England.

The fashion model was once shacked up with former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner and even co-hosted a television show in their native Denmark. That romance wasn't built to last, however, after the four-year relationship came to an end in 2021.

Clearly not one for superstition, Roepstorff has taken another dip in the footballer fountain after kindling a new love with Premier League-bound Jacob Bruun Larsen. The Hoffenheim attacker has joined Vincent Kompany's Burnley on a season-long loan, after netting just six times in 57 outings for his parent club.

And Roepstorff is sure to go down a treat at Turf Moor before her beau has even kicked a ball in England's top flight.

Except in Larsen's case, Roepstorff will be along for the start of his English journey as opposed to Bendtner, whom she started dating just as his time in the country was coming to a close. The 81-cap former Denmark international scored twice in 17 appearances for Nottingham Forest (then in the Championship) when he moved to Rosenborg in 2017.

The 35-year-old playboy hit it off with Roepstorff shortly after and appeared to be besotted with the brunette beauty. The pair announced their split in 2021, but it didn't take the latter long to move on after it emerged she was seeing Larsen later the same year.

The former Borussia Dortmund academy star had himself just concluded a unremarkable loan at Anderlecht, where he bagged twice in 19 outings for the Belgian giants. Roepstorff seemingly fancies herself something of a fixer-upper, not that she's been able to work her charm on Larsen following two forgettable campaigns in the Bundesliga since they got together.

Still, the pair will be hoping for a fresh start in the Premier League, where 24-year-old Larsen hopes to help the Clarets keep their top-tier status. Kompany & Co. dominated the Championship last term to earn promotion at the first time of asking, making a number of high-profile signings across the park.

Roepstorff once described Larsen as being like 'the boy version of herself' on one episode of 'Bendtner and Philine', which came to an end in 2022. And the glamourous arrival has appealed to her Instagram following for advice on their new surroundings.

"We're moving to the Manchester area," wrote Roepstorff. "Send all your recommendations - we need them. The next few days we're looking full time for a place to stay. So sorry if I'm not on my phone as much. We also need to get rid of our house in Germany."

'Lord Bendtner' - who retired in 2021 - scored a career-high 23 goals for Rosenborg in 2017, just as his romance with Roepstorff was taking flight. Larsen can only hope to hit such heights in his English debut campaign, though there are parts of Bendtner's example he'd surely prefer to not follow.
