Breaking: Kylian Mbappe REJECTS Al-Hilal record offer

The Frenchman will not be making the move to the Middle East

French superstar Kylian Mbappe has turned down the opportunity to move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal despite their lucrative offer, it has emerged.

In addition to the World Record 300m transfer fee, they were willing to commit a massive 700m euros to his yearly salary, making him the highest-paid player in the history of World football at just 24 years old.

They were also willing to let him walk away from the club in 12 months for nothing should he wish, in order to follow his boyhood dream of playing for Spanish giants Real Madrid.

However, the Frenchman has refused to entertain the idea, it has been reported by French outlet L'Equipe.

'The 24-year-old and his entourage have turned down the prospect of meeting with the Saudi outfit', it has been reported, keen to stay in Paris for the final year of his contract.

PSG are thought to be furious at the prospect, with sources within the French club believing that he already has an agreement to join Real Madrid for nothing at the end of the season, something which he threatened to do just last summer too before ultimately penning a new deal in the French capital.

Having only penned fresh terms last summer, Mbappe will be a free agent next summer, and the French champions have no intention to let him leave for nothing after paying £170m to sign him from Monaco, therefore listening to bids this summer.

Al-Hilal have already signed Ruben Neves, Sergej Milinkovic Savic and Kalidou Koulibaly this summer, and earlier confirmed that they had also landed ex-Barcelona man Malcom in a deal worth 60m euros.

They have also seen bids for Lionel Messi and Romelu Lukaku turned down but are reportedly closing in on a move for Mbappe's PSG teammate Marco Verratti in an astonishing swoop.
