Moises Caicedo has admitted he can't say no to Chelsea
Brighton star Moises Caicedo has admitted he can't say no to Chelsea - and he's desperate to join the 'beautiful team'.
Caicedo has been heavily linked with an exit from the Amex Stadium, and Chelsea had been interested in his services in January. The blues have swooped back in for the star, but Brighton are holding firm with their £100million price tag.
The Ecuadorian admitted to La Cancha Con Majo: "It's a big team, that's true. A very historic team and I can't say no because it is a very big, historic, beautiful team. The city as well is beautiful!"
Caicedo almost left the South Coast in January, this time it was Arsenal that had come calling for his signature. However, Brighton stood firm with his price tag, continuously rebuffing the Gunners' £70million offer.
Speaking to The Telegraph after the move fell through, Caicedo said: "I"m sure I'm going to have many more opportunities. That"s why I continue to do things well.
"It was tough. In the beginning, when I didn"t end up going, lots of people would make fun of me on Instagram. People treated me badly. I didn"t check my social media because it would hurt me to see things."

He added: "I"d seen a lot of Arsenal before knowing that there was a possibility of me signing for them. I watched them and I liked them because they have very young, talented players and some stars but they always have that mindset of wanting more."
After Arsenal's approach, Brighton tied Caicedo down to a new deal, that will keep him on the seaside until 2027 - meaning Chelsea will have to part ways with £100million if they want his services.
