Chelsea are ready to cash in on homegrown defender Trevoh Chalobah as they look to continue trimming their squad ahead of the new season, with Inter Milan among those interested in the Englishman.
The Blues finished a sorry 12th last season, their worst-ever finish in the Premier League, which means that they won't be playing in any European competition next season.
As a result, they are looking to trim back the squad, and have already parted ways with central defender Kalidou Koulibaly just 12 months after he arrived in west London.
Now, according to the London Evening Standard, 'Mauricio Pochettino only wants four centre-backs in the first-team squad next season' due to the lack of games on offer at Stamford Bridge, and Chalobah is believed to be the odd one out.

A right-footed defender, the 24-year-old made 34 appearances last season, but is below veteran Thiago Silva and last summer's signing Wesley Fofana, who has overcome a serious injury to return to full fitness.
On the opposite side, January addition Benoit Badiashile and highly talented defender Levi Colwill are also thought to be ahead of him in the pecking order, with the pair both being left-footed options to play on the left side of defence.
It is added that 'the club have made the decision that they will listen to offers' for the Englishman, who they value in excess of £25m, which could prove a stumbling block should he be looking to leave England and the Premier League.
Still harbouring aspirations of making Gareth Southgate's England squad for Euro 2024 next summer (though at present that looks unlikely), Chalobah is keen to move on should an offer be put on the table, with Inter Milan thought to be one of the sides keen on the defender, but the Nerazzurri having cash problems of their own and more likely to sign teammate Lukaku than Chalobah this summer.
