Real Madrid wants Xabi Alonso to replace outbound Ancelotti

Former Real Madrid midfielder and current Bayer Leverkusen coach, Xabi Alonso is reportedly the favourite candidate at Real Madrid to replace the outbound Carlo Ancelotti who will join the Brazilian national team in 2024 after the expiry of his current contract.

The Madrid board is reportedly looking at the Spaniard for the role, having been impressed by his stint at Bayer Leverkusen.

Bayern Munich make £70 million bid for Harry Kane

According to Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich have made their second bid for Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane. The bid is said to be worth £70m ($90m) which the German champions increased from their original bid of £60m ($77m).

Sergino Dest invites interest from Fulham

According to Mundo Deportivo, Fulham and Crystal Palace are both interested in signing Sergino Dest.

The American defender played just 14 times for AC Milan during his loan season there last year. The fullback, who is 22 years old, has since returned to Barcelona, who plans to sell him this summer.

But the deal could collapse as the club management are unhappy with the player's demand of increasing the initial offer of £16million-per-season which they refuse to do.
