Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool have seen a 2nd enquiry for an up-and-coming member of the defensive ranks at Premier League rivals Chelsea knocked back, according to reports.
The Blues talent in question? Levi Colwill.
Defender Colwill, of course, is widely considered to be a star in the making amongst those in a position of power at Stamford Bridge.
Fresh off proving himself Premier League ready courtesy of a stellar loan stint with Brighton & Hove Albion last season, it therefore came as little surprise to hear of the 20-year-old being offered fresh terms in west London earlier this week.
Colwill, for his part, however, has to this point refused to commit his long-term future to Chelsea.
This comes with the English youth international seeking showdown talks with incoming boss Mauricio Pochettino, regarding his place in his plans moving forward.

Such uncertainty, in turn, has culminated in inevitable speculation surrounding a potential summer departure for Colwill.
Brighton, for one, are desperate to bring the stopper back to the south coast, ready to break their club transfer record if as much can be agreed.
Also keen, though, according to fresh reports, are Liverpool.
The last 48 hours have seen claims spread quickly in the media that the powers that be at Anfield have earmarked Colwill as a prime long-term target.
This comes with Jurgen Klopp understood to be an admirer of the youngster's abilities.
Chelsea, however, appear utterly adamant that their Cobham academy product will be going nowhere any time soon.
As revealed by Goal, Liverpool, in fact, have gone as far as to make two formal enquiries for Colwill, 'with their most recent coming in recent weeks'.
Both approaches, however, were firmly 'knocked back' by the Stamford Bridge hierarchy.
Despite the ongoing speculation surrounding his name, Colwill, it is assured, is viewed as a 'key member' of Chelsea's squad.
