Man Utd to sign David de Gea to new contract as Andre Onana move may be in jeopardy

Manchester United's pursuit of Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana is in doubt amid transfer budget constraints.

iNews reports that United may opt to re-sign De Gea, whose contract expired on June 30, but to a much lower salary than his previous one. A vast chunk of Erik ten Hag's budget is being used on the signing of Mason Mount from Chelsea for around £60m (€69m/$75m), and so signing Onana for €50m (£42m/$54m) may not be possible.

De Gea could be re-signed as the club's No.2, with Dean Henderson brought in as number one.

Willian is all set to leave Fulham as a free agent as he refused to sign a new contract that would have kept him at the club for one more year, according to the Evening Standard.

The Brazilian will no longer continue at the Premier League club after they denied him a rise in pay in the new deal. His current contract with the club expires after June 30.
