SPURS are determined to keep hold of Harry Kane amid serious interest from Bayern Munich.

German reports claimed the Bundesliga giants made an offer of around £60million for the England captain — who has a year left on his contract.

Yet Tottenham sources denied any bid and claimed, had there been, it would have been snubbed because they plan to keep talisman Kane.
Real Madrid cooled interest in the striker, 29, earlier this summer after being told he is not for sale — and Bayern can expect the same response.
Privately, chairman Daniel Levy has not given up hope of convincing Kane to pen a new deal and avoid him leaving for free this time next year.
Kane is now on holiday and initially was only interested in a Manchester United move so he could break Alan Shearer’s Prem record of 260 goals.
But despite only being 47 goals behind legend Shearer now, he has had his head turned by Bayern bosses.
This is despite the fact he can name his price, and have his pick of clubs, next summer when his Spurs contract expires.
Kane has NEVER won a trophy and would be almost guaranteed to end that drought at Bayern — title winners for the last ELEVEN SEASONS.
Boss Thomas Tuchel is also targeting Kane’s England team-mate Kyle Walker of Manchester City.
With Kane up front, the Bavarians would be strongly fancied to win the Champions League, too.
German outlet Bild claimed Kane and Bayern have already reached an "agreement in principle."
And it is now down to Tottenham to make their decision.
Tuchel tried to sign Kane in 2021 when he was Chelsea manager.
Then-Blues director Marina Granovskaia even met with his family.
But the striker did not want to risk his reputation with Spurs fans by moving to one of their big rivals.
Selling Kane abroad now would at least allow Spurs to cash in before losing him for nothing — and they do not want to flog him to a domestic rival like United.

But SunSport understands the North Londoners’ stance remains they would rather see him go for free in a year, than part with him now.
Yet that position would be tested should Bayern return with a much-improved bid.
Sorting Kane’s future is top of the agenda for new boss Ange Postecoglou — along with bringing in new players.
Tottenham last night announced the £16.3m arrival of Italian keeper Guglielmo Vicario, 26, from Serie A side Empoli.
Captain Hugo Lloris, who has been Spurs’ No 1 for the last 11 years, is set to leave this summer.
Spurs are also confident of signing attacker James Maddison — another of Kane’s Three Lions pals — from relegated Leicester in a £40m deal, despite tentative interest from champions City.
Spurs have announced Postecoglou’s five-man coaching staff — led by senior assistant coach Chris Davies.
There are also assistant coaches Mile Jedinak, Ryan Mason and Matt Wells, plus goalkeeping coach Rob Burch, who came through Tottenham’s academy as a player.
