Ilkay Gundogan's wife Sara Arfaoui will be delighted that he is leaving Manchester City this summer - because she can't stand the local food.
The Germany international has opted to leave Pep Guardiola's side after lifting a historic treble and could now move to Barcelona with wife Sara amid interest from Xavi.
The Spanish cuisine might just be more to the taste of the mum of one, who only last year hit out at Manchester eateries with a brutal assessment sent out to her Instagram following of more than half a million.
She claimed that "horrible food" is served everywhere in Manchester - and that she can't find a real Italian anywhere.
Asked to name her favourite restaurant in Manchester, she replied: "Sorry, I’m sad to be honest but nothing. I tried so bad to find a good restaurant but horrible food everywhere.
"Can't find a real Italian or good sushi or just fresh food . . . everywhere frozen."
She added that the venues are "focusing on making money with drinks" rather than "quality food".

To make local food fans even more annoyed, she concluded of places to find good grub: "Maybe in London but in Manchester nothing. I’m sorry."
The pair welcomed their first child back in March before he went on to achieve a captain's dream of three major trophies.
Sara was present at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul as the job was completed against Inter Milan, posing with her husband and the trophy.
