The 20-year-old Dutchman joined Bayern at the start of the previous season in a deal worth around €25m, but he has found it difficult to hold down a regular starting spot under Julian Nagelsmann and Thomas Tuchel.
Gravenberch has made 24 Bundesliga appearances so far for the German outfit, but none of those have lasted 90 minutes. In fact, he notched just 559 minutes of league action across the 2022/23 campaign. And given he still needs to develop as a player, it would be smart for Gravenberch to move clubs next season.
Both Liverpool and Manchester United have been linked with the Dutchman ahead of the summer window opening but now, Bayern's president has spoken out on a possible transfer.
Speaking with BILD, Herbert Hainer said: “In my opinion, he is an incredibly talented player. That's why we brought him. He got more playing time towards the end of the season. I'm sure he'll get more playing time in the future.”
So, it looks as though Gravenberch will be remaining at Bayern for at least one more season.
