Arsenal make first bid for Kai Havertz

Chelsea have turned down Arsenal's opening offer for Kai Havertz.

Chelsea and Arsenal have been in talks over the Germany international this past week.

Arsenal have made a first offer for the attacker, believed to be in the region of £45-55m.

But transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports Chelsea have rejected the proposal, rating Havertz at £75m.

Arsenal due to return with a new proposal this week.
