Arsenal prepare to raise Rice bid to £100m
Arsenal are ready to increase their bid to land Declan Rice after an initial bid of £80m plus add-ons was rejected by West Ham.
The Daily Mail reports that a new bid of £90m plus additional clauses will be submitted but the two clubs are also in disagreement regarding the payment schedule of the fee.
One area the two clubs are in cooperation on is Arsenal's willingness to give West Ham firs refusal on players leaving the Emirates this summer with Eddie Nketiah a potential target for the Hammers.
Romeo Beckham pens permanent deal with Brentford
Beckham moves to west London on a permanent basis from Inter Miami after converting a successful six-month loan deal into a one-year contract.
Beckham is expected to continue in Brentford's successful B team set-up after helping them win last year's Premier League Cup.
Newcastle ready Tierney bid
Newcastle United are preparing a formal bid to tempt Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney tot he club.
Football Insider reports the the player is keen on moving closer to his native Glasgow having spent four seasons in the capital and having lost his first team place to Aleksandr Zinchenko.
Manchester City and Aston Villa are also said to be monitoring the situation.
Leicester City want Guardiola's assistant Maresca
Leicester City want Pep Guardiola’s assistant, Enzo Maresca, to become the new manager, according to Sky Sports.
Both parties have already held 'productive talks' and the Leicester management remain keen on him.
Maresca had earlier led Parma in Serie B and was in charge of Manchester City’s Elite Development Squad. Although his spell in Italy was a disaster and was sacked after five months in charge in the autumn of 2021, he led City to the Premier League 2 title in May 2021.
