Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has expressed his concerns over the sale of the Red Devils and how it impacts his transfer funds.
The Glazer family are currently exploring the potential sale of United, with Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe the two frontrunners. However, heading into the summer transfer window, the future of the Red Devils is in the air.
And, according to ESPN, Ten Hag is concerned with how he's being left in the dark over transfer funds. The Dutchman is also annoyed at the 'little information' about how the sale process is progressing.
Speaking after United's final Premier League game, Ten Hag took aim at the board as he publicly pleaded for them to back him in the transfer market over the summer.
He said: "The club knows that if you want to play top four, if you want to compete for trophies in this tough league, you have to invest, otherwise you won't progress because other clubs will. We saw it in the winter.
"All the clubs around us invested. We didn't and still, we made it. So I am really happy and proud of my team."
Ten Hag's first season as United boss has come to a close, with the Red Devils wrapping up the Carabao Cup - beating Newcastle convincingly in February.
United also qualified for the Champions League under the Dutchman, but they failed to get the job done in the FA Cup final. Manchester City beat their hated neighbours 2-1 at Wembley, thanks to two volleys from Ilkay Gundogan, after their neighbours briefly rallied thanks to a contentious Bruno Fernandes penalty.
