Former Manchester United star Paul Pogba was reduced to tears after being forced off with another injury as his fitness problems continue to plague him at Juventus. The Frenchman became overwhelmed with emotion after suffering another devastating setback, having only recently returned from a lengthy spell out, as he walked off the pitch in their match against Cremonese on Sunday night.
The 30-year-old was handed a start by Juve head coach Max Allegri at the Allianz Stadium but the Italian tactician was forced into a change when Pogba pulled up after just 23 minutes on the clock.
And it became too much to bear for the ex-United player, who left the Red Devils on a free transfer last summer after six years at Old Trafford.
As he walked off the pitch to be replaced, Pogba was seen holding his face and wiping away tears from his eyes. He looked devastated and had to be consoled as he lifted his shirt over his head while walking off.

It was not immediately clear what the issue was, but the France star's reaction suggested it may have been a serious problem that could keep him out for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
He didn't even make his debut for the Bianconeri until February after recovering from a torn meniscus in his knee, which occurred during the club's pre-season tour. But his season may already be over after just nine appearances for the Serie A club.
Allegri brought on striker Arkadiusz Milik as he reshuffled his lineup with the score still goalless in Turin as the troubled Italian fight to earn Champions League qualification.
It comes just days after Allegri challenged Pogba to get back into shape so that he can play full matches, having been eased back into the action.
The midfielder bagged a goal in the 1-1 draw with Sevilla on Thursday as Juve aim to make the Europa League final.
"He is improving, he played well for 25 minutes," Allegri said. "He needs to play more games to get back in shape, he can be decisive in the final third and we’ve often spoken about it.
"The most important thing now is that he’s available. With games every three days, it’s difficult to recover and play an entire match."
