Premier League physio Stuart Douglas is set to leave his post in favour of a career in television.
The Bournemouth medic, 45, enjoyed a playing career for the likes of Luton Town, Oxford United and Dagenham & Redbridge. He finished with Wessex League champions Poole Town, scoring twice on his debut for the Dolphins in a victory over Alton Town before hanging up his boots in 2010.
He served as a physio for AFC Wimbledon under managers Wally Downes and Glyn Hodges, before being appointed the Cherries’ head physiotherapist by Neal Ardley in 2020.
But Douglas is now reportedly ready to give that all up at the end of the 2022/23 season, with Bournemouth already advertising for a replacement.
The north London-born former pro first got a taste for appearing on TV alongside his sister Scarlette, the former presenter for A Place in the Sun.

Together, the siblings helped families transform run-down houses into dream homes on Channel 4 programme Worst House on the Street, which began in 2022.

They also appeared together on Flipping Fast in the same year, with the show running into 2023. The property competition format on Channel 4 sees developers attempt to start their own property business.
Before that, Stuart and Scarlette appeared together in a special edition of Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer's Love It Or List It, which was part of Channel 4's Black to Front project in September 2021.

Douglas jetted into the Australian jungle last year, where his sister Scarlette was appearing on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
The former Luton man now appears to be heading towards working with Scarlette full-time. The Daily Mail put his departure from football down to freeing up more time to focus solely on roles on-screen.
