Man Utd refuse to enter haggle-battle with Levy for Spurs ace Kane

Manchester United are reluctant to get involved in a saga this summer over Harry Kane.

The Tottenham striker is emerging as the club's number one summer transfer target.

However, the Manchester Evening News has poured some cold water on links to the England captain.

United do not want to get involved in Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy's games, according to the source.

While they are willing to push the boat out financially, they would not want a long saga that runs through to the end of the transfer window.

If a deal with Kane appears unfeasible, United will swiftly move on to other targets.
