Saudi Arabia tabled €50M proposal to Real Madrid midfielder Modric

Saudi Arabia have offered to double Luka Modric's current Real Madrid wages.
Off contract in June, Modric and Real are discussing a new 12 month extension, with staying the priority for the 38 year-old midfielder.
However, AS says a Saudi offer of €50m - net - has been tabled for two years to the player's management team.
The offer has given Modric pause for thought, though he still favours staying in Madrid.
The veteran wishes to take part in Euro 2024 and also feels he still has plenty to offer to Real Madrid.
