Man Utd and Man City to battle it out for Inter Milan defender Bastoni
Both Manchester City and Manchester United are interested in securing the services of Alessandro Bastoni from Inter Milan, reports Fichajes.
Bastoni is set to enter into the final year of his contract and Inter could be forced to sell the defender to avoid losing him on a free transfer in 12 months' time.
The report adds that Inter are still hoping to tie him down to a new contract, but City eye Bastoni as a replacement for Aymeric Laporte. United, meanwhile, are looking for an upgrade in the central defensive department, with both Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof linked with moves away from the club.
Real Madrid identify Trent Alexander-Arnold as alternative option to Reece James
Real Madrid are searching for alternative options if they are unable to sign Reece James from Chelsea, and they could turn their radars to Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold or Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong.
That's according to journalist Ekrem Konur, who says that while Blues and England star James remains Los Blancos' priority target, the Spaniards are lining up back-up options.

Chelsea open talks with Sporting CP manager Ruben Amorim
According to talkSPORT, Chelsea have now interviewed Sporting CP manager Ruben Amorim about potentially taking over the managerial charge at Stamford Bridge in the summer.
The Blues are still looking for a permanent replacement for Graham Potter, but they are determined not to act hastily. Appointing Frank Lampard as interim head coach until the end of the season has provided them with more time to make a considerate decision.
Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has also held talks with former-Spain and Barcelona boss Luis Enrique, while former Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann and current Fulham manager Marco Silva are also said to be on the five-man shortlist.
Leeds United plotting summer transfer swoop for Barcelona starlet
Barcelona winger Ez Abde is impressing on loan at Osasuna, and Leeds United have emerged as one of the clubs interested in signing him permanently in the summer, according to Sport.
The Catalans are hoping to welcome the 21-year-old back to Camp Nou when his loan spell ends, but they're unable to guarantee the Moroccan the first-team opportunities he needs for his development.
Abde's agent, Javier Garrido, recently met with Leeds officials, who are keen to make a serious proposal should they manage to stay in the Premier League.
Chelsea risk losing defensive prodigy in fire sale as Liverpool and Man City plot summer swoop
According to the Evening Standard, Manchester City and Liverpool are both interested in snapping 20-year-old defender Levi Colwill, who is on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion from Chelsea. The report adds that Brighton also want to retain the player who has impressed since Roberto de Zerbi took over at the Amex, with all three clubs looking to pounce on Chelsea's bloated squad and dismal ongoing season.
The highly-rated left-footed central defender is being tipped to get an international call-up ahead of Euro 2024, and both City and Liverpool are ready to push hard for the promising talent.
Newcastle United open to selling winger Allan Saint-Maximin amid Middle-East interest
According to TEAMtalk, Newcastle United will entertain offers for winger Allan Saint-Maximin after concluding that he does not merit a new deal and does not have a long-term future at St. James' Park.
The 26-year-old’s agent has requested the Newcastle hierarchy to look into a new deal, with his current one due to expire in 2025. The Frenchman wants a longer contract with a significant pay rise, but Newcastle are not convinced of doing so, and will listen to offers from potential suitors.
The report adds there was interest from the Middle East in January and that could be a possible avenue again for Saint-Maximin this summer.

The Turin-based newspaper reports that Madrid have already had him scouted on several occasions, and coach Carlo Ancelotti is a fan of the 21-year-old, who is view as 'untransferable’ by Torino, but an offer of between €20-€25m should be enough to change their stance.
