Erik ten Hag fires warning at out-of-favour defensive pair
Erik ten Hag has issued a verbal warning at Manchester United’s second-choice centre-back pair Victor Lindelöf and Harry Maguire, reports the Mirror.
The duo have been called up for action amidst an injury crisis at Old Trafford with both Varane and Martinez ruled out. Maguire and Lindelof could both feature in the starting eleven for United's Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest.

Lisandro Martinez ruled out for the remainder of the season
According to reports from England, Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez has been ruled out for the remainder of the season. The Argentine centre-back sustained an injury in the Europa League clash against Sevilla and scans have revealed that Martinez has a fractured metatarsal bone in his foot.
The 2022 World Cup Winner hobbled off the pitch in the last knockings of the game at Old Trafford and will return to action next season. The news comes as a huge shock for Erik ten Hag and Manchester United who also saw Martinez's partner Raphael Varane getting injured sidelining him for a few weeks.
Blues plotting a second meeting with Barcelona prodigy
According to Diario AS, Chelsea has scheduled a second meeting with Barcelona wonderkid Gavi. The Blaugrana are inching closer to signing Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan, and the Blues are looking to benefit from the situation.
Despite committing his future to the Spanish heavyweights, Gavi has not been registered by La Liga meaning he would be a free agent in June. The London-based club will have a second meeting with Gavi’s agent and the report suggests that the youngster’s parents will also be in attendance.
