Brighton's manager Roberto De Zerbi has reacted to the sacking of Chelsea manager Graham Potter. The former Seagull's manager was shown the exit door after a string of shambolic performances for the Blues.

De Zerbi who is tipped to succeed Potter at Stamford Bridge is one of the top most contenders to join Chelsea along with the likes of Julian Nagelsmann.

The Metro reported the Italian saying "I am very sorry. It is bad news for the coaches," said De Zerbi. "I think you give too much importance to the coaches because the players are always the most important and I don't like when coaches are sacked because the responsibility is not only with them.
