Samuel Umtiti Barcelona
Centre-back Samuel Umtiti could hardly have had a lower value when Barcelona loaned him to Lecce for this season, but his reputation has completely turned around in recent months and the Blaugrana could recoup a transfer fee this summer after all, reports SPORT.
Umtiti's contract was restructured at Camp Nou to run until 2026 as a way of spreading out wage payments. What the club didn't realise when it made that move was the potential to then sell him to a club in a major league.
But because he's proven he can play at a high standard in Serie A while maintaining fitness, he is said to now be of interest from clubs in big leagues ready to pay a fee to sign him permanently this summer.
