Cristiano Ronaldo took lifts to Man Utd training before amassing huge supercar fleet

Cristiano Ronaldo was driven to training by Wes Brown when he first arrived at Old Trafford in 2003 - but when he left in December, Ronaldo had amassed a fleet of supercars.

Brown revealed that he had to drive Ronaldo to Carrington during his spell at the club. Speaking to the Football Social Daily podcast, Brown lifted the lid on what Ronaldo was like away from the pitch.

The Englishman said: "100% the same [person when he returned], it's different because, to a lot of other people, he's now a senior player. But when he was with us, he was one of the younger lads - I used to pick him up from his house when he first moved!"

These days, Ronaldo's fleet of supercars is believed to be worth north of £18million.

One of those cars - an £8.5million Bugatti Centodieci - is only one of ten in existence, that Ronaldo purchased in 2021. Another car, the Portuguese megastar owns is a Mercedes-Benz G-Class - which his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, purchased him for his 35th birthday.

However, having all these cars can be a logistical nightmare, as Ronaldo found out when he left Manchester United after his bombshell interview with Piers Morgan.

Ronaldo accidentally brought the streets of Lisbon to a standstill as he offloaded some of his cars into a garage in the city centre.

One onlooker told The Sun: "The delivery driver tried to unload them with as little fuss as possible, but the lorry blocked the road and that created a bit of a traffic backlog. Then the Escalade and the Bentley rolled out of the back and they are very eye-catching.

"They tried to get them into the garage as quickly as possible, but the cars still had British plates so it was pretty easy to work out they belong to Ronaldo. Maybe he wants to get them home while he plots his next move on the football pitch."

It's unknown how many of those cars have made the journey to the Middle East with Ronaldo - who joined Al Nassr last month. Ronaldo has enjoyed a successful start to life in the desert, and his side currently tops the Saudi Pro League.
