Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has, on Friday, responded to claims that he is primed for an imminent departure from the club.
For those not aware, the future of Italian tactician Ancelotti has taken its place front and centre in the headlines across the day to date.
This comes after it was surprisingly reported that the former AC Milan and Chelsea headmaster has come to the decision to bring his Bernabeu stint to a close in the summer.
As per ESPN Brazil, Ancelotti has agreed to take up the reins of the Brazilian national team, through the summer of 2026.

Speaking to the media this evening, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his future was put to none other than Real’s boss himself.
Ancelotti, though, was quick to shoot down the day’s speculation.
Ahead of guiding his side into a Club World Cup finale showdown with Al-Hilal on Saturday, the 63-year-old assured that he remains fully focused on matters in Spain’s capital, where his contract is due to run through the close of next season.
Not only that, but Ancelotti appeared to deny the suggestion that he has held talks with the Brazilian FA altogether:
Carlo Ancelotti on deal agreed to become new Brazil national team coach: "Brazil national team? I don't know anything about this, I don’t even know what they reported in Brazil". 🚨⚪️🇧🇷 #RealMadrid
