Manchester United have identified Marcel Sabitzer as the man to replace crocked star Christian Eriksen - and the Bayern ace will be accompanied by his hot WAG should he make the move to Old Trafford

Marcel Sabitzer appears to be on his way to Manchester United and he'll be bringing his gorgeous WAG along to Old Trafford should he make the move.

United have swooped in for the midfielder on Deadline Day, as did their Premier League rivals Chelsea. But United are in pole position to land the 28-year-old, according to multiple sources.

United's eagerness to sign Sabitzer comes after Christian Eriksen was ruled out for the rest of the season. The Danish international's campaign was brought to a grinding halt following a brutal lunge by Andy Carroll during the Red Devils' FA Cup clash against Reading.

German publication Bild claim that the Red Devils are on the verge of finalising the transfer for Sabitzer, who has made it clear to Bayern that he wants to leave the Allianz Arena, Fabrizio Romano reported. And if the reports are true, the attacking maverick will be accompanied on his travels by stunning partner Katja Kuhne.

According to soccersouls, Sabitzer met Katja in 2017 when he was at RB Leipzig and they had a child, Mary Lou Sabitzer, in April 2019. And the Bayern ace proposed to his partner in 2020, although they're yet to tie the knot.

Katja regularly posts snaps of her family together on her Instagram page the has just under 4,000 followers. And when she's not cheering on Sabizter, or looking after their child, Katja's busy with her career as a model and TV host.

While her partner was building his reputation with Bayern, Katja was endearing herself to the German public by winning reality TV show Bachelor. Her success on the show catapulted her to superstardom and led to her roles as a brand ambassador for a slew of companies.

But before her life as a model and WAG, Katja spent her childhood growing up in her native Ukraine, and then moved to Germany for further education. However, it's not been all glitz and glamour for Katja who nearly lost her eyesight due to a problem with her corneas.

The blonde had to undergo three operations to save her sight, while her doctor said at one point she "could not see much further than 5cm".

And she kept the harrowing experience to herself at the time because she feared how people would treat her. Katya said: "I was almost blind. Few people knew that, I was always afraid of the reactions."

But thankfully Katja's sight was salvaged and she was able to experience the fiery atmosphere at Anfield when her boyfriend travelled with Leipzig to face Liverpool in the Champions League in 2021. And she's set to leave her mark on plenty more Prem stadiums this season as Sabitzer's transfer to United edges closer.
