Liverpool seeking midfield loan signing 'from top European club'

Liverpool are working the loan market as they seek a midfield addition.

The Daily Mail says Liverpool are 'assessing the squads' of European sides in a bid to boost their midfield options with a temporary transfer.

The Reds secured the loan signature of Arthur Melo from Juventus on transfer deadline day during the summer, though the Brazilian has hardly featured due to an injury sustained back in October.

A similar move could be repeated in the current window as Liverpool consider loan options at 'top European sides' including Atletico Madrid, Juventus and PSG.

The market shuts in England at the end of January.
