Real Madrid attacker Marco Asensio is in contact with Barcelona.

Off contract in June, Asensio's priority is to stay in Madrid. However, if he must leave, then Barca is a realistic option, says Sport.

Asensio changed his long time agent, Horacio Gaggioli, earlier this season to sign with Jorge Mendes. The Portuguese has a good relationship with many clubs, including Barca.

Barca and Mendes have discussed Asenso's situation, with his free agency status attractive to the Blaugrana.

As yet, no firm offer has been tabled, but Asensio now knows Barca are keen.
