Manchester City's calamity keeper Stefan Ortega will no doubt have the full support of stunning wife Sabina after his Carabao Cup blunder against Southampton.
Ortega was caught out by Moussa Djenepo having drifted off his line after Sekou Mara had slotted home a shock opening goal for the Premier League's bottom side.
Djenepo lifted the ball over the former Arminia Bielefeld stopper with relative ease - with Ortega left wishing he was back in the arms of his nearest and dearest.
One fan said of the second goal: "The keeper was closer to the Etihad than his own line."
A second added: "He's practically shooting in an open net. It ain't that hard."
A third agreed: "What was the city keeper doing?"
As a fourth posted: "I don’t care if the goalkeeper was sitting on the moon... Fabulous goal"
Ortega joined City from the Bundesliga back in July, making only six appearances in total as he plays back-up to Pep Guardiola's first-choice stopper Ederson.
The 30-year-old moved to England with his wife and their child, having posed for several holiday snaps during their time together.
Sabina Instagram uploads include many of the couple with their young daughter, as well as bikini pics from their trips abroad - including Ibiza.
Other trips include Majorca, Mauritius and Minorca, but Ortega in particular was delighted to move to Manchester with the reigning Premier League champions.
He said at the time: "Ortega can't wait to get going in his new surroundings. This is a fantastic move for me.
With Sabina simply saying in response: "So proud of you."
