Newcastle ask Man Utd for McTominay (Keith Downie)
Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie has told GiveMeSport that the Magpies recently enquired about signing Scott McTominay.
Newcastle now have the sort of money to go and sign. players from the Premier League's biggest clubs but it doesn't sound as though this move is likely.
Indeed, Downie explained: "I think there was an enquiry made for McTominay recently, perhaps even on loan, but I don’t think Man United want to do it.”
New deal for Fulham boss Silva
According to the Daily Mail, Fulham are planning on offering manager Marco Silva a new contract.
The report claims the Premier League side are desperate to get him to commit beyond 2024. Formal discussions, however, are yet to begin.
Fulham are currently flying high under Silva and sit seventh in the league ahead of their derby clash against 10th-placed Chelsea this week.

The Red Devils are close to bringing in Wout Weghorst but they might not be finished yet just when it comes to attacking additions this winter.
Indeed, according to journalist Alex Crook, the Barcelona man could be a target for the club over the coming weeks.
He told GiveMeSport: “I don’t think he’s one that’s going get the fans excited. But yeah, if a deal could be done I wouldn’t rule it out.”

According to Italian news outlet Il Messaggero (via Calciomercato), Lazio are ready to cash in on Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The report explains that 'zero progress' has been made it when it comes to negotiating a new contract and so the midfielder will be allowed to leave.
