Arsenal and Spurs eye January move for Ndicka
North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham look set to battle it out for Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka this January, reports German outlet FR.
The Premier League clubs will have to act fast, though, as it is thought that Frankfurt are looking to hand the 23-year-old a new three-year contract. Ndicka has been a stalwart in the German side this season, with 23 appearances across all competitions.
Arsenal enter race for PAOK wonderkid
Arsenal have joined Manchester City and Chelsea in the race to sign PAOK wonderkid Giannis Konstantelias, according to the Standard.
The Gunners are said to be sending scouts to watch the 19-year-old this month, after a number of eye-catching displays. Konstantelias has two assists in 13 appearances for PAOK in 2022-23 and is expected to make his full international debut for Greece in March.
Brighton CEO reveals lack of Caicedo offers
Brighton CEO Paul Barber has told CBS Sports that the club have received no offers for sought-after midfielder Moises Caicedo, singling out Liverpool in particular as they have been heavily linked with the player.
"I'm pleased to say we haven't had any. Maybe they [Liverpool] haven't got my email because I haven't seen any," Barber joked.
Jacobs also revealed that the Ecuadorian is actually more on Chelsea's radar in recent weeks, after a mega-money move for Benfica's Enzo Fernandez stalled earlier this week.
NY Red Bulls make Manoel move permanent
New York Red Bulls have announced the permanent signing of Brazilian Elias Manoel, who signs for the MLS club on a deal until 2025 having spent the last two months of 2022 on loan.
“Elias [Manoel] proved to have a great potential in MLS in the short time he was with us last season,” said Head of Sport Jochen Schneider. “We are very happy to have him with us permanently and excited to see him continue to help accomplish the goals we have as a club.”
Arsenal unconcerned with Chelsea's interest in Mudryk
Arsenal are not threatened by Chelsea's recent interest in signing long-term target Mykhaylo Mudryk, according to Ben Jacobs.
The CBS Sports reporter writes that the Gunners have the advantage in terms of negotiations and that Blues owner Todd Boehly is unlikely to match Shakhtar's asking price.
