Liverpool have made a sudden move for Napoli defender Kim Min-jae.
Naples' Il Mattino reports Liverpool have 'called' Napoli regarding centre-back Kim on the back of Virgil van Dijk's injury news.
It yesterday emerged the Reds will be without their No.4 for an extended period of time with a hamstring injury, which comes at an unfortunate time for Jurgen Klopp's side.
Van Dijk's absence has brought Liverpool 'back on the market' for a defender and are described as being 'on the trail' of Napoli's summer recruit.
Kim have been outstanding in his first season in Italy having arrived in July from Fenerbahce.
