Real Madrid are exploring bringing Rayo Vallecano wing-back Fran Garcia back to the club.
The left-back came through La Fabrica but only made one appearance for the senior team before moving across the city to Vallecas.
The 23-year-old has been impressing for Rayo this season in LaLiga Santander and his return is being openly discussed by Los Blancos' staff and directors, says Marca.
Many, including Carlo Ancelotti, believe that Garcia should be in the Real Madrid first team from July 2023.
The player himself has never hidden his desire to play in the Real Madrid first team and would no doubt be keen on a return.
With a bright future, this could be a smart piece of business for Los Merengues.
The operation could be a relatively cheap one for Real Madrid, too, despite the frustration that it might provoke in some that the player was theirs just a couple of years ago.
His release clause at Rayo is set at 10 million euros, a very accessible price for a player of the level he is reaching.
