Alex Le Tissier turned to sex work after struggling financially during the pandemic
The daughter-in-law of Matt Le Tissier burst out laughing when asked whether the Southampton icon would be popping over for Christmas dinner.
Babestation beauty Alex Le Tissier was speaking with us about her festive plans when we asked her the awkward question.
The pair reportedly had a bust up when Alex, who is married to Matt’s son Mitch, turned to OnlyFans to help feed her four kids during the pandemic.
Matt was then accused of calling her a “bad mum” after she embraced the sex industry.
The controversial former footballer is now estranged from the family, including his grandkids – and Alex believes he is “too stubborn” to do anything about it.
She told us: “No way [will he change his ways], he is way too stubborn. I don’t think I know anyone more stubborn.
“I think even if there’s a part of him that’s like ‘ok, this is silly, I don’t see my grandchildren over this’ he still wouldn’t do anything about it. There will be no Christmas reunions, that's for sure.”
The outspoken model added: “Now that is all matey with Farage and things I don’t want to be associated with that.”
Since being axed from Sky in August 2020, Matt has appeared on GBNews where he called England gaffer Gareth Southgate “woke” during a pub chat with Nigel Farage.
The Covidiot has also teamed up with social media platform GETTR where he broadcasts his controversial opinions.
It is run by CEO Jason Miller who is the former aide to Donald Trump – and in 2019, court documents revealed Miller had hired prostitutes as a married man.
For this reason, Alex believes it is ironic that Matt won’t “associate” with her now she is in the sex industry.
She said: “It’s fine for you [Matt] to be associated with someone who uses sex work but you won’t associate with a sex worker. It’s ironic and that’s what annoys me.”
Matt has refused to comment on the family feud publicly since he reportedly found out Alex was doing OnlyFans after being shown a racy image.
Alex said she was then pressured to change her surname but refused to do so.
Earlier this year she told us: “Unfortunately the sex industry isn’t something that a lot of people want to be associated with.
“One of the things that annoyed me most is… you can't go on social media and say things like ‘everybody should have control of their own body in regards to the vaccine’. But you are not going to allow me to have choices over my body when it comes to OnlyFans or Babestation?”
She added: “I was most disappointed with his family’s reaction. They were not very nice about it. They asked me not to use my name and for a while I didn’t. At the time it was really hurtful. Prior to being married I kind of had built up my own – I don’t want to say fanbase – but my own little following on Instagram.
“I don’t have millions but I had 25,000 followers and that was all from blogging and I used to do influencer things around Southampton and that was before I got married. So I felt like I had built up my little platform without the name.
“Unless you knew us both already nobody knew I was dating Matt Le Tissier’s son because I’m just not that person. It was hurtful that a narrative was spun that I was using the name to gain clout and the money.”
Alex went on to earn fortunes on OnlyFans and has appeared in an Oliva Attwood documentary since opening up about her cash struggles.
And she is now going into a new year wealthier and happier than ever before.
She told us: “It doesn’t feel like it has sunk it, it has felt like a bit of a dream. I am so happy because this is what I wanted.”
Daily Star has contacted Matt Le Tissier for a response to comments made in this story.
