David Beckham left 'heartbroken' as wife Victoria shares daughter Harper's big request

The famous footballer was left feeling a little down in the dumps after his youngest child asked him to drop her away from the school gate as she was embarrassed to be seen with her dad
David Beckham has been left "heartbroken" over his daughter Harper's latest request, says his wife Victoria.
Despite being one of the cooler dads on the school block, the legendary footballer has still been asked to park away from the school gates.
Harper, 11, recently asked her famous dad, 47, the inevitable question which seems to be a right of passage for most kids.
His fashion designer wife, 48, recently revealed the issue on the Armchair Expert podcast which is hosted by Dax Shepard, 47.

During the episode, Victoria spoke to the American actor about her life, family and career.
The mother-of-four told a tale about her own father, Tony Adams, who used to drop her off at school in a Rolls Royce.
She told the podcast host that her entrepreneur dad was "very proud" of his posh motor.
Victoria said: "We had the Rolls Royce but because he was an electrical wholesaler he also had a van. Me and my sister used to say like 'please drop us [off] in the van'.

"I think more kids at school were being dropped off in a van and so when we were in the Rolls, we'd be like 'oh please drop us down the road'."
The Spice Girl said she felt "a little bit embarrassed" at the time and continued: "Nowadays, I'd be like literally pull up right to the front gate. And I'd be proud to get out of that Rolls."

Dax - who has two children with his actress wife Kristen Bell, 42 - then joked how parents "just can't do right by [their] kids".
Victoria responded: "David was having this conversation the other day when he was dropping off Harper. [...] She was like, 'Daddy can you drop me a little bit away from the school'."
She explained that her husband was left feeling totally "heartbroken".
The Posh Spice star added: "She's our youngest daughter and he was like 'oh really, this is happening'."
"And then he was like 'if it's uncool that David Beckham's your dad ...' I mean let's be honest what hope do most of the other kids have."
Victoria later suggested it might have been because David was wearing a "bad outfit that day".
She laughed: "It could just be as basic as that."
