Transfer news and rumours LIVE: Luka Modric yet to make a decision on Real Madrid future

Madrid keen on offering Marco Asensio a contract extension

According to Spanish outlet SPORT, Marco Asensio is on the verge of signing a new deal with reigning La Liga champions Real Madrid.

The Spanish forward has been previously linked to multiple European elites but Los Blancos are looking to keep Asensio in Spain despite fewer chances.

But with Benzema out injured and Hazard on the verge of leaving, Asensio’s renewal could be a massive boost for Madrid.

Luka Modric yet to make a decision on Real Madrid future

According to AS, Real Madrid veteran Luka Modric is yet to decide on his next step, leaving his future at Santiago Bernabeu up in the air.

Modric's current contract with Real Madrid expires at the end of the season. The 37-year-old and Real Madrid have come to an agreement for him to extend his contract one-year plus basis, like he did in 2022 when he extended his contract through the summer of 2023.

However, no agreement has been reached on another year extension that would keep him at the Bernabeu beyond the current season.

PSG's President not scared to lose Kylian Mbappe

Paris Saint Germain’s President Nasser Al-Khelaifi has cleared the air around Mbappe’s exit from the Parisians, according to Fabrizio Romano. According to Al-Khelaifi, the French forward is satisfied with the current project in France.

PSG to wait till January to discuss contract details with Messi

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has said that no decision on Lionel Messi's contract extension will take place before January. Both the parties involved are satisfied with each other and will agree on terms in January.

Barca to shell out €40m for Moroccan midfielder

Barcelona has been issued a price tag for transfer target Sofyan Amrabat, according to Toni Juanmarti.

The 26-year-old has a €40m price tag attached to him, and the Spanish heavyweights are prepared to pay the amount.

The club has had its eyes on Martin Zubimendi and Ruben Neves, but their signatures could be very costly.

With Amrabat showing his class in Qatar, Barcelona will look to sign the Moroccan midfielder this summer.
