Transfer news and rumours LIVE: Bayern ponder move for Croatian World Cup hero

Bayern Munich join the race for Gvardiol

According to Foot Mercato, Bayern Munich are soon going to enter the competition for highly-rated Croatia and RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol.

Gvardiol has set the world alight with his performances for Croatia at the World Cup, with the report stating that already Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United have placed large bids for him.

Real Madrid unlikely to sell Mendy to PSG

According to El Nacional, Real Madrid will make it difficult for PSG to acquire Ferland Mendy by only selling him to them if they pay his release clause of €250m.

Mendy who was once a bonafide starter is now no longer considered as part of his plans by manager Carlo Ancelotti. For every other team apart from PSG, Real Madrid will accept a bid in the range of €50m.

Juventus handed boost in Guerreiro chase

According to CalcioMercato, Juventus have been handed a major boost in their attempts to sign Portuguese left-back Raphael Guerreiro with Borussia Dortmund deciding not to renew his contract which expires in 2023.

Juventus eye Guerreiro as the perfect replacement for ageing left-back Alex Sandro, and may now be one step closer to bringing him to Turin.

Bayern ponder move for Dominik Livakovic

According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on Croatia and Dinamo Zagreb goalkeeper Dominik Livaković to deputise in place of the recently injured Manuel Neuer.

Livaković has caught the eye of many with his heroic performance in Croatia's hard-fought quarter-final victory against Brazil in Qatar.

Bayern see him as the ideal stop-gap and perhaps even successor to Manuel Neuer who will reportedly be out for the rest of the season.

Endrick to sign 3-year-contract with Madrid

As per journalist Nicolò Schira, Palmeiras starlet Endrick will sign a three-year contract with Real Madrid. Due to the winger still being under 18 years of age he can only sign till 2025.

However, as per Schira, once he turns 18, the contract will be further extended for another five years, which will see him stay till 2030.

Bayern contemplating a move for Alexander Nubel

Following an injury to Bayern Munich and Germany's legendary goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer, the Bavarians are considering the option to bring back Alexander Nübel. According to Christian Falk, there is no clause in his contract to bring him back and Bayern will have to negotiate with Monaco.

The player is reportedly open to the move but wouldn't want to sit on the bench when Neuer returns.

English clubs launch onslaught on Vlahovic and Juventus

The Serbian striker hasn't found his goal scoring touch playing for Juventus but his capabilities are unknown to none, according to TuttoJuve.

Considering both Arsenal and Chelsea are looking for a striker to lead their forward battery, Vlahovic could be an ideal addition.

While the Italian outfit will either aim to garner a large amount from this deal or get a player in exchange considering their massive financial struggles. It'll be crucial to see if Juventus can fend-off this pressure if they wanna tie Vlahovic to Turin.

Bayern cools down interest in Joao Felix

According to journalist Kerry Hau, Bayern Munich have dropped their plans to sign Atletico Madrid's Joao Felix in January.

The German heavyweights previously had a bid rejected for Felix last year, and it was expected that they could once again fight for the youngster's signature.

But unfortunately, the Bavarians are no longer interested in signing Joao Felix as his hunt for a new club continues.
