Erling Haaland has been raised in talks between Real Madrid and Palmeiras superkid Endrick.
Marca says Real Madrid have promised Endrick they would not sign Haaland if the Brazilian wonderkid decides on a move to the Bernabeu.
Endrick is swiftly becoming one of the most in-demand teenagers in the world after an impressive start to his season in South America. Earlier this year, he also helped his club clinch the Copinha after scoring seven goals in seven matches on his way to being recognised as the Player of the Tournament.
Europe's top clubs are eyeing the 16-year-old including the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Madrid - and it is the latter who have offered an unusual promise in a bid to take pole position.
According to reports in Spain, representatives of Endrick have asked the La Liga club to insert a promise that they would not sign Manchester City star Haaland, with fears that the Norwegian goal machine would be detrimental to their player's progress.
And while talks remain informal, Carlo Ancelotti's side are said to be receptive to the clause - principally due to an understanding that Haaland's astronomical wages would not fit into their structure.
