Transfer news and rumours LIVE: European giants plot Gakpo move

Mount rejects latest contract offer

Mason Mount has rejected Chelsea's latest contract offer, thought to be £200,000, according to the Daily Mail.

Mount apparently seeks parity with fellow England star Raheem Sterling although Chelsea are still confident of getting their young talisman to sign.

Young Argentine midfielder to join Sporting CP

Sporting have secured the signing of young Rosario Central midfielder Mateo Tanlongo, with the 19-year-old set to join in January, reports Fabrizio Romano.

He will sign a contract until 2027.

Memphis could return to Manchester United

Barcelona winger Memphis Depay could make a sensational return to Manchester United, with fellow Dutchman Erik ten Hag keen on bringing him back, says Florian Plettenberg.

Memphis has fallen down the pecking at Barcelona since Ronald Koeman was sacked but is with the Netherlands squad at the World Cup.

AC Milan revive interest in Chelsea winger

Hakim Ziyech could be making the move to Serie A, with AC Milan hoping to re-open talk with Chelsea following a failed move in the summer according to 90 min.

Ziyech has been a bit-part player for Chelsea under Graham Potter and the player refused to rule out a move in the January transfer window after Morocco's game against Croatia.

European giants want World Cup star Gakpo (Timmer)

The 23-year-old winger has been on fire for club and country so far this season and some of the world's biggest clubs are starting to pay attention.

The news out of the Netherlands is that his agent will be holding talks with potential buyers after the World Cup, with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Liverpool and Bayern Munich in the hunt, according to Marco Timmer.

Gakpo has already scored twice in this tournament.
