Chelsea to beat Man Utd to €75m Diogo Costa signing (Relevo)
Chelsea have made contact with Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa, Relevo reports.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper has caught the attention of several teams in Europe, including Manchester United, but Chelsea hope to jump to the front of the queue to sign him by reaching out to discuss a move.
The shot stopper has a €75 million release clause in his contract.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe to bid for Man Utd
After failing in his bid to buy Chelsea from Roman Abramovich, Sir Jim Ratcliffe will make an attempt to purchase Manchester United, The Telegraph reports.
The Glazer family confirmed this week that they want to sell the club and Ratcliffe, who is one of Britain's wealthiest men and also a famous United supporter, is prepared to swoop in having previously contacted the owners about a takeover in August.
