Marcus Rashford backed to become England no.9

Rashford's form had been fairly poor for several years up until the 2022/23 season.
However, he returned to form under Erik ten Hag, just in time to grab a spot in Gareth Southgate's 2022 World Cup squad.
England played their first game of the competition on Monday, smashing Iran 6-2.
Rashford did not start the game but he did come off the bench to score a brilliant goal, chopping inside before calmly smashing goalward.
Following that game, former England striker Emile Heskey has backed Rashford to become a no.9 for England:
"England don't just have Harry Kane and Callum Wilson as their main strikers, they also have Marcus Rashford who can play in that position, albeit a different type of striker," he told Paddy Power.
"Alternatively, you could put Phil Foden or Raheem Sterling as the false number nine if Gareth Southgate wants to change tactics.
"Callum Wilson provides something different to Harry Kane, whereby he'll run in behind the defence as an alternative option. There will be a lot of pressure on Harry Kane to stay fit and play every minute in the tournament."
