Leeds among clubs monitoring Netherlands star Noa Lang
Club Brugge forward and Netherlands international Noa Lang is said to be top of Leeds United's list of potential offensive recruitments in January, according to Givemesport's Dean Jones.
The club previously considered the 23-year-old during Marcelo Bielsa's time in charge, but instead opted for Dan James. With James now on loan at Fulham and unlikely to return to Elland Road, the door appears to have been opened for £30m-rated Lang, although Jones writes that Leeds will face stiff competition from up to 12 other teams.
Man Utd join hunt for Marcus Thuram
Manchester United could look to bolster their attacking options in January, with Erik ten Hag reportedly keen on bringing in Borussia Monchengladbach's Marcus Thuram, writes Rudy Galetti.
Thuram's contract with Gladbach ends in June 2023, and the German side are allegedly keen on making some profit in January rather than let him leave for free in the summer. United, meanwhile, are in the market for a forward following the imminent departure of Cristiano Ronaldo announced on Tuesday.
Spurs lead race for Atalanta's Malinovskyi
Tottenham are reportedly in pole position to sign Atalanta's Ruslan Malinovskyi in the January transfer window, according to Italian outlet Sport Mediaset.
This report is backed up by information from Calciomercato, who believe that Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici have a strong chance of landing the Ukraine international this winter, who is currently valued at €18m (£15.5m).
Ferdinand expects Bellingham to snub United
Manchester United are one of many clubs interested in Jude Bellingham, who impressed in England's World Cup opener against Iran.
After the win, though, United legend Rio Ferdinand told his FIVE YouTube channel that he expects the midfielder to snub his former club, saying: "Put yourself in Jude Bellingham's shoes now… [Manchester] City are going to be in for him, Real Madrid will probably be in for him, they are all going to be, Barca, Bayern will be in for him.
"There's too much work to be done at United, whether he thinks 'you know what I can be the catalyst to pull this club back to where it should be'. That's the only way he goes if he says that in his own mind, 'I can be that guy', if he thinks he can be that guy then Man United's the club for him, but I don't see him taking that decision."
Ronaldo "torn" between Newcastle and Al-Nassr FC
Following the dramatic announcement that Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United have mutually parted ways, Spanish outlet Marca reports that the Portugal international is "torn" between a January move to Newcastle and Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr.
It is thought that both sides are the only ones who could afford Ronaldo's exuberant £520k-a-week wage demands, with the Magpies offering the more competitive option. Eddie Howe's side are currently sitting third in the Premier League, above the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea.
