Tottenham and Brazil star Richarlison had a reporter in stitches with his retirement plan

Richarlison has joked he's going to "buy an island with lots of women" like Ronaldinho when he retires.

Brazil legend Ronaldinho, who was known for being quite the playboy during his career, memorably posed in a pool with five bikini-clad women who were bent over in front of him in 2014 as his playing days neared their end.

Tottenham forward Richarlison, 25, is still way off from hanging up his boots. But ahead of his nation's World Cup opener against Serbia on Thursday (November 24), he was asked about his retirement plans.

"I'm going to buy an island and be alone with a bunch of women, just like that picture of Ronaldinho," he told journalist Isa Pagliari during an interview with RonaldoTV, as per UOL.

After Pagliari burst out into laughter, Richarlison added: "It's a joke, it's just imagination." He's been in quite the humorous mood since linking up with the rest of the Brazil squad.

During their official photoshoot he went and pulled Manchester United midfielder Fred out of a central spot, telling him it was reserved for star man Neymar.

Richarilson also defended the PSG forward after he came under fire for adding a sixth star to their badge, suggesting they already had the tournament in Qatar wrapped up.

German publication Bild accused Neymar of being arrongant, to which his team-mate replied: "They are arrogant. We're just dreamers. We are dreaming of this sixth star and we will pick it up, whether they like it or not. That reporter is an a**hole."

Richarlison is expected to start alongside Neymar in a front three for Brazil having forced his way into the starting XI with 17 goals in his 33 international appearances.
