Leeds star Brenden Aaronson can expect a warm welcome from his stunning girlfriend in Qatar after his shock call-up to USA's World Cup squad.

Aaronson's excelled at Elland Road since moving to Leeds in the summer, featuring in 13 Premier League games, providing one goal and an assist. And the 22-year-old's contribution for Jesse Marsch's side has earned him a spot in the US team, jetting to Qatar in a few weeks.

Aaronson's Leeds pal Tyler Adams was also included in the squad, along with five other Premier League aces, consisting of Chelsea star Christian Pulisic, Fulham pair Tim Ream and Antonee Robinson, plus Arsenal stopper Matt Turner.

Aaronson's inclusion has delighted his girlfriend Milana D'Ambra, who praised the attacking midfielder's selection on Instagram. The pair are currently in a long-distance relationship as she stayed in America to play college football, in Philadelphia where they met, when he moved to Leeds in the summer.

But he won't have to wait too long to smooch his beau as the blonde stunner declared that she's en route to Qatar to cheer him on. She beamed in a picture of them canoodling on Instagram: "Squeeze ya soon."

Milana has a small fan base on social media where she boasts just over 19,000 followers. But her stock is set to soar if Aaronson and the USA have a good run at the World Cup.

But first they'll have to get past England and Co in Group B. The Three Lions collective, who will be cheered on by the biggest collective on WAGS in Qatar, found out who will be going to the Middle East on Thursday afternoon when Gareth Southgate announced his final 26-man squad.

There was a shock spot in Southgate's squad for Leicester City star James Maddison, and Newcastle striker Callum Wilson. However, it was heartache for the likes of Tammy Abraham, Ivan Toney and Jarrod Bowen, who were left out of the team.
