Paul Pogba passed a self-imposed knee test by dancing around his living room - convincing fans he's going to the World Cup.

The French superstar has been out of action since picking up an injury in pre-season after moving to Juventus from Manchester United. The 29-year-old underwent surgery in September to expedite a return to action, but his progress was derailed after he picked up a thigh injury, which prompted the centre-midfielder's agent to rule him out of the ensuing World Cup.

But Pogba's seemingly defied the odds to claw himself back to fitness just weeks before the competition gets underway. There was no sign of any health woes as the Juve star jiggled around effortlessly in his living room to the sound of Drake's 'BackOutsideBoyz' smash hit.

The former United primadonna looked elated while swanning around the room flexing his knees as his family looked on amused in the Instagram clip captioned: "Family time, Knee test passed," alongside a laughing emoji. He gave pop legend Michael Jackson a run for his money while sliding from one side of the room to the other wearing a black denim jacket, ripped jeans, a white t-shirt, with his baseball cap placed backwards.

Pogba's slick moves delighted fans on social media who reckon Pogba made the clip to stake his claim for a spot in France's team. One supporter mused: "LOL he made this video to show Deschamps that his knee is fine that's all."

And his dance moves earned the approval of another user who declared: "Okay are you ready to go back to the field." Pogba's regained fitness at the perfect time with just one spot left in Deschamps squad that fans believe is earmarked for the midfielder.

France's head coach named what supporters claimed is a 'stacked' squad on Wednesday that included 25 names. But each team participating in the competition can bring 26 players to Qatar, meaning Pogba could be set for a late addition to the collective consisting of 11 players from the conglomerate who won the tournament in 2018.
