Chelsea deal for RB Leipzig striker Nkunku on track despite Mintzlaff exit

RB Leipzig director of football Oliver Mintzlaff leaving the club will have no impact on negotiations with Chelsea for Christopher Nkunku.
The Leipzig director is set to move up the ranks at the Red Bull club system, taking up his role as CEO of the Red Bull group.
However, Sport Bild in Germany claims that such a transition will not have any impact on the Nkunku move to Chelsea.
Max Eberl will take over as director of football in December, with the Nkunku to Chelsea deal all but done.
Per the source, Chelsea will pay around £52.8 million to secure the French attacker in the summer of 2023.
The only aspect of the deal that remains is the official announcement by both clubs, with Nkunku also having agreed personal terms with Chelsea.
